Mark is a lifelong resident of Romeo growing up in a house across the street from the 297 Prospect Street school and he currently resides within walking distance of the property where the schools stood. Mark, his extended family, and his wife attended Romeo Junior High School and their three daughters attended the Romeo Middle School at 297 Prospect Street. In young adulthood, Mark taught at the Jr High and Powell Middle schools. (Interview with Sue Beaudry Wiers)
