Rosemary (AKA Rosie) is a lifelong resident in the Romeo school district. She attended kindergarten at Croswell Elementary School and attended St Clements School 1st to 8th grade with a small circle of classmates & friends. She transferred 9th grade at Romeo Junior High School where she experienced the transition to a much larger school and made fast friends. She admits to the challenge of combination locks!
Rosie went on to teach in Romeo Schools for 25 years, first at Indian Hills 2nd – 4th grades and then Powell Middle School 6th – 8th grades. Rosie has worked with many Romeo School students who later taught in the Romeo School District.
Rosie feels it is important that the property on Prospect Street remains a place for educational purposes. She appreciates the support of the Village of Romeo and the Board of Education.
