Ruth grew up in Washington, Michigan and has had a life long residency in the Romeo school district. She attended Romeo Junior High School for two years before being transferred to Powell and has fond memories about school and friends. Ruth has been involved in the development of other parks previously including the recent upgrading the downtown park in Romeo. She believes green space provides places to gather for fellowship cultivating the feeling of being part of something special. Ruth envisions a learning park with a rich history.
