Green Space Challenge Stories Day 25
“I moved to Romeo about 6 years ago. Growing up in Oakland Township, I always liked the more rural small town life. When it was time to look for my first home, Romeo fit right in. At first I didn’t know too much about this small town, but it didn’t take me long to find my place.
With my passion for history I joined the Romeo Historical Society to help preserve the history of this village. In doing so, I have met a lot of great people in town and made some really good friends!
The green space to me has always been used as a place for the community to enjoy. For 171 years generations of people have used this space to learn, play, and relish. It would be a shame to see that change.”
