Urgent GSOPS Community Meeting

Please come to our Green Space Organizational Meeting on Wednesday, September 26th at 6:30 PM at the Romeo Community Center at 361 Morton Street. This is the last community meeting before some very important decisions are made. We need you there!
Dear Green Space Friends,
We are down to the wire with our efforts to preserve 297 Prospect Street to transform it into an arboretum and a place of wellness, learning and joy in nature for our community. Two big topics to address:
- Acquisition strategies – How are we adjusting to keep moving forward? What is the funding gap and how will we fill it? Who are our partners?
- Arboretum organization to care for the property in the future – Are you in? Why now? What are the roles and responsibilities? We don’t have to figure this out by ourselves – there are some great guidelines from ArbNet. See their City Arboretum Toolkit.
