Why We're Celebrating
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church has cared for its 11-acre property as an important part of the Romeo community for decades. Today, St. Paul’s and Green Space Romeo are working together to restore this land to a healthy native ecosystem and protect it for future generations.
With our partner, Lake St. Clair CISMA, we are removing invasive species, hosting volunteer workdays and educational programs, and using sustainable restoration practices such as goat grazing.
Over the next five years, our goal is to create a more resilient landscape while fostering community stewardship and environmental education.
