Nancy O’Brien lived in Romeo School District most of her life. She is a 4th generation member of her family in the Romeo Community School system. Nancy has fond memories particularly in the older part of the school. She discusses a special photo that was published in the Romeo Observer. The photo is from 1943 and included her father who was playing a basketball game in the gym and her mother is in the balcony from above watching the game. As a retired middle school teacher, Nancy appreciates the potential for this space for a place of outdoor learning.
