Dear Green Space Friends,
We are excited to share a new STEWARDSHIP PARTNERSHIP with you! Green Space Romeo is teaming up with the Lake St. Clair CISMA and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church to steward 11 acres of green space owned by St. Paul’s in Romeo. You can find details about our stewardship partnership and our partners here.
Please join us for a WINTER WOODY WORKDAY at St. Paul’s led by our friends at the Lake St. Clair CISMA on Saturday, March 7 at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. We will start in the church at 10 a.m. with coffee, hot chocolate and snacks and an introduction to managing woody invasive plants in winter. All tools will be provided. Please dress appropriate for the weather. See our event calendar for details and to check for weather-related updates.
On a sadder note, Green Space recently lost a good friend. CELESTE POLLMAN was a talented graphic artist who created all the beautiful posters, stickers, postcards and invitations for the Green Space on Prospect Street campaign. Celeste passed away suddenly on February 9. Art and the environment were her passions, and we will miss her very much. The celebration of Celeste’s life will be held on Saturday, February 28 at Gramer Funeral Home in Clawson.
On behalf of Green Space Romeo, I wish you the very best and hope to see you soon,
Donna
